At Baptist Cancer Center-North Mississippi, our team of cancer treatment professionals has years of experience in their field and are highly qualified experts. Our physicians are all board-certified in radiation oncology, medical oncology or oncologic surgery, and our staff holds a variety of degrees and certifications. 

A radiation oncologist, along with registered nurses, a registered radiation therapist, and dosimetry and nuclear medicine health care professionals staff the center. We use a collaborative approach to treat patients, and each member of our cancer care team plays a specific role.

We believe that the best prevention for cancer is found through education and early detection. To improve health and wellness, we perform reduced-rate mammogram and prostate cancer screenings, as well as educational programs, throughout the year in communities across North Mississippi.

Awards and Accreditations for Quality Cancer Care

The American College of Surgeons' Commission on Cancer (CoC) Approvals Program recently accredited Baptist Cancer Center-North Mississippi because our program offers prevention, early diagnosis, pre-treatment evaluation, staging, optimal treatment, rehabilitation, surveillance for recurrent disease, support services and end-of-life care.

The state of Mississippi also awarded our North Mississippi cancer hospital the Gold Certification Seal Standard for quality and completeness in the cancer registry.
